I recently had several problems all arise at the same time (server
crashing, new networking software, new server, and much more), so when
problems currently arise I can't be sure of the source.

This also solved another problem I was experiencing with my intranet
site which had just started to insist that I had to sign in:
"Connect to companyweb" was also annoying as it also appeared to be

solved by the above solution.
